For Indiana Certified Wastewater Operators
Who Prepare and Submit DMRs
February 27, 2014
Beginning immediately, for any Indiana certified wastewater operator who prepares DMRs, MMRs or MROs:
If you complete the enrollment process for NetDMR and begin submitting DMRs and MMRs or MROs for the first time using Net DMR, between February 27, 2014 and December 31, 2014, IDEM will grant you four technical contact hours toward the renewal of your wastewater operator’s license.
This applies to Indiana certified wastewater operators who have not previously submitted their DMRs using the NetDMR application. This incentive is only available once per person and once per permit.
To begin the enrollment process for NetDMR, please contact your area inspector, or any of the people listed on the contact list below, or go to the IDEM website at www.in.gov/IDEM, then go to e-Services, then NetDMR, and begin the process yourself. Once you have completed the enrollment process and have successfully submitted a complete and accurate DMR using NetDMR, you may submit the Wastewater Operator/Apprentice Continuing Education Credit Report (State form 51139) to the Office of Water Quality, Compliance Branch to receive your four hours of credit.
EPA has proposed a new federal rule which will require all NPDES permit holders to submit their NPDES compliance information electronically. So here is an opportunity to beat the rush and earn some contact hours at the same time. For more information on this offer, please contact Mark Stanifer at 317-232-8431.
