Read what Jarrod (not from Subway) had to say when asked, “Is this a good way to actually study and learn something for the Certification Review and worth the money?” Jarrod said, “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try the review course. Yes, it was easy to use and I has able to get all the handouts. The handouts were very helpful. I didn’t have a problem with the format moving backward or forward. I have my wastewater one for Ohio, and also have my apprentice for Indiana. Right know I am trying to get my class one water, and then I going work my way up with wastewater. I think $200 is a good price, some classes are around $500. Once again, thank you for all you do for helping people that are trying to get their license.”

Self-Paced Water/Wastewater On-Line Math Course – UPDATED
Wastewater 101 is now offering on-line courses. These are self paced courses allowing you to work through the problems with the session; it only goes as fast as you do and you have 30 days to complete the course. There is a quiz at the end of each one to see how well you retained the information.
Are you studying for an exam? Have you just had problems with math or have you been out of school for quite awhile? These courses make math easy to understand.
For a short time Wastewater 101 is offering a self-paced (approximately 4 hours to complete) Simplified Math Course. This course will be available to you for 30 days from the date of enrollment. You will be able to review at your pace within those 30 days. This course contains the following:
Area, Volume, Circumference, Converting Inches to Feet, Converting Flow, Converting Percent/Decimal Point, Decimal Point, Detention Time, Converting Cubic Feet, Gallons, Pounds, Time, Hydraulic Loading, Pump Capacity, Digestion Time, Sludge Applied, Velocity, Population Equivalency, Ponds, Chlorine, Celsius and Fahrenheit, Davidson Pie Chart, Loadings, Sludge Age as well as other formulas using the Pie Chart
Will reintroduce you to the basic math formulas you either forgot or slept through in school and introduces you to the Louisiana Shuffle. If you cannot figure the weir overflow rate for a circular clarifier by finding the circumference of the weir on your own then this course is for you.
Utilizes the conversion box method to help you understand how to convert time and quantities. If you cannot find Flow, MGD using velocity, width and depth this course is for you.
Will help you understand not only the loading portion of so many formulas, but will introduce you to the Davidson Pie Chart so you can learn to work loading formulas reversed without going back to algebra. If you cannot give the concentration, mg/L when given the flow and pounds then this course is for you.
Is designed to help you deal with word problems. Many times it is the wording in a math problem that is confusing, if that is one of your problems, this course is for you.
This approximately 4 hour course is specially priced at $40 and can be found at the following link: https://wastewater101.pathwright.com/
