CERTIFICATION EXAM REVIEW SEMINAR

Tuesday March 31st and Wednesday April 1st 2015 (8am-4pm both days)
LOCATION: The Shelbyville Parks Department Banquet Room

Registration: (coffee and donuts) – 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Lunch: (participant is responsible for their own lunch) – 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
The two day Certification Review course will be held Tuesday March 31st and Wednesday April 1st, 2015 in Shelbyville. Barbara Smith, retired Administrator of the Muncie Sanitary District will be the instructor. She has been instructing for many years in her own unique style. The course is approved for 14 technical wastewater contact hours (no partial credit will be given). The course is geared toward Class I through IV Municipal and Class A and B Industrial Wastewater Certification through IDEM. Topics will include: IDEM rules and Regulations, Pretreatment, Collection Systems, Preliminary Treatment, Sedimentation/Clarification, Secondary Treatment, Tertiary Treatment, Disinfection, Maintenance, Solids Handling, Final Disposal, and Math. If you are not studying but need contact hours this is a good way to get 14 T. hours. Students are responsible to bring a 10-digit calculator, pen and paper.
